Dennis has over 20 years of professional technology experience - specializing in enterprise AIX network administration and support. Dennis is the Verde Valley Guidance Clinic’s Systems Administrator and Webmaster. For more than 10 years with Netsmart Technologies and Sage Software as a UNIX Systems Engineer, he was responsible for managing and troubleshooting their enterprise UNIX environment that included AIX, SCO, Linux, and HP-UX platforms. In this role he was responsible for: the design, build-out, and administration of enterprise AIX-based solutions server and infrastructure solutions typically on IBM pSeries hardware – including leveraging HACMP and LPAR technologies; developing and troubleshooting shell scripting with Korn and C; and back-up recovery specialty duties including work with Tivoli Storage Management and Veritas.

Dennis is a highly skilled UNIX Administrator with deep skills managing enterprise AIX environments (version 4.2 to 6.x) - including installations, patches, migrations/upgrades; has strong HACMP skills (replication, hot fail-over, etc); and is proficient developing virtualized server solutions leveraging LPAR and using various types of software. His expertise also involved setting up the Financial and Clinical packages of the CMHCMIS software on Unix servers and the graphical interface (IIS, Apache and Java) on Windows Servers. He is a strong shell script developer with Korn, C, Borne and Perl; has a background with Veritas and TSM; and has worked with Redhat, Apache and SCO. In addition, Dennis is also an expert in Xenapp and VMware.
Dennis also worked as an AIX and SCO UNIX Instructor and has completed many training courses (including IBM pSeries server training, and all XP and Server 2003 courses); has instructional experience teaching UNIX; and was CMHC's Support Person of the Year 2003, 2004 and 2005.
