PGP Web Messenger is intended for people who do not expect to receive e-mail messages from people from the Verde Valley Guidance Clinic very often or do not have the ability to install PGP Universal Desktop. Essentially it is a repository for e-mails to be stored securely while providing a secure way to respond to those e-mails. It functions very similar to most web-based e-mail systems.
Once the recipient sets up their password they will be presented with a screen offering the three different options for delivery of future e-mail from vvgclinic.org. The first option is Web Messenger. Set the radio button on PGP Web Messenger and click Choose Option.
Once this option is selected any future e-mails will be stored on the PGP server and an e-mail with a link back to get the e-mail. Simply type in the password that you selected and you will be back at your Inbox. The Inbox will show any e-mails that are stored there for you. Anything in bold is a new message that hasn't been viewed yet. It will display if a message has been responded to with an arrow near it.

Along the top are two buttons that say "Settings" and "Logout." The Settings button takes you to a page where you can change your delivery method or change your password. Logout logs you off of the system.

From the Inbox you can click on any message to read it. The message will show up telling you who sent it, when it was sent, who it was sent to, what attachments are included, and the subject of the message. If there are any attachments they can be downloaded here. Along the top are buttons to go back to the Inbox, Reply, Reply to All, Delete, Settings, and Logout. Use caution with the Delete button. Clicking it will permanantly delete the message without asking you if you are sure.

Clicking Reply or Reply to All will bring you to the screen where you can type a reply and upload attachments if you need to. The reply screen is very similar to most web e-mail systems and easy to get around. It will not let you send to anyone outside of the vvgclinic.org domain unless they were recipients of that specific e-mail. It will let you send to anyone inside of vvgclinic.org.

You can upload attachments to a reply by clicking the button just under the subject line that says Attach Files. A screen will open that lets you either type in the path to the file or you can click to browse for the file. Once the file is selected click Upload.
